Our client is a leading South African meat wholesaler supplying meat and other food products to sectors of the hotel, restaurant and hospitality industries. They are looking for a Sales Representative to join their Johannesburg team.
Job Description / Purpose:
To grow and maximise turnover with existing and new customers.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Call on existing customers, customers on database and potential customers to increase sales and meet targets exceedingly.
- Promote specials utilizing all means available at disposal to promote products on sale.
- Upselling or cross selling products and approaching new customers.
- Issuing/ sending out quotations to potential clients and existing clients.
- Follow up regularly after closing a sale to ensure client satisfaction.
- Respond promptly to customer queries and complaints to find solution and to defuse tension.
