About Role
The Sales engineer will be part of the structure of the Hach’s Municipal & General Industry Business. This role will focus on building strategic relationships with key accounts.
Reports to Sales Manager.
What You’ll Be Doing (Job Responsibilities)
- Drives growth in business to the key customers in the assigned region/customer groups (Municipal & Universities - Peninsular Malaysia)
- Single point of contact to the key accounts for technical and solution‑related queries, sales opportunities, and coordination of service requirements
- Understand the water technology space and have existing relationships with key players
- Develop, implement & sustain comprehensive account plans (sales, marketing, and service programs/strategies) to achieve annual booking and sales numbers
- Understand the market and its trends, competitors, and opportunities covering the whole municipal & general industries
