A large renewables company with offices around the world is looking for a Sales Director.
The Sales Director will drive the company’s growth in South Africa and will be responsible for leading commercial efforts, including identifying sales leads, pitching services to new clients and driving customer discussion towards signed contracts. The role includes careful strategic planning, understanding of regulations, and market intelligence.
Qualifications
- 8-10 years professional experience, Business Development experience on high value sales and contract negotiations in South Africa, ideally within the solar industry.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Business Management or Project Development in C&I and/or utility scale Solar PV sector; ideally with a solar developer or EPC.
