Health & Safety Advisor (Civil Construction)
Overview
Our client is seeking a proactive Health & Safety Advisor to support and improve their safety programme across a growing civil construction business. This is a standalone safety role supporting approximately 60–80 employees, with responsibilities split between the field and office.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing safety for a civil construction contractor, be comfortable working independently, and take a practical, collaborative approach to safety.
What We're Looking For
- 2–5+ years of health and safety experience within civil construction.
- Experience acting as the primary safety representative for a company or project.
- Strong understanding of COR requirements, audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Familiarity with SiteDocs or similar safety management software.
