Safety Project Performance Engineer

**Tecnhical Skills**:- Minimum of 2 years of crash/safety related experience is required, specifically in two or moreof the following areas:- Design of vehicle structures for impact performance using computer aided engineering (CAE).
- Restraint system or component development.
- Sled and/or full vehicle testing.
- Program Management on safety related commodities.
- Knowledge of global vehicle safety regulations and consumer ratings requirements.
- Understanding of the vehicle development process- Familiarity with DYNA3D, CATIA/NX/TC, Hypergraph, data/film analysis and advanced simulation techniques.
**General Activities**:- Establish, justify, and manage safety financial targets by leading collaboration activities with all associated vehicle safety teams to identify direct & indirect material costs including projected labor hours, vehicle quantities and test components are captured to align with the identified component, sled and vehicle tests.
