Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in safety management, preferably in a similar industry or environment.
- Professional certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with occupational health and safety guidelines by investigating and writing incident and accident reports, hazard identification, risk assessment, and control, and conducting inspections to ensure equipment and workplace safety; mitigate risks in the workplace and safeguard employees and the organization as a whole.
