Job Responsibilities:
- Acting as Designated Person (DP) to ensure the effective implementation of a safety management system.
- Communication and implementation of the safety environmental protection policy.
- Developing SOPs to maintain the best business practice.
Evaluating and reviewing the effectiveness of safety management system (SMS). - Reporting and analysis of nonconformities incident and hazardous occurrences.
- Participating in monitoring the effectiveness of Marine Units audits & inspection.
- Appropriate revision of the SMS SSP & Waste Management to ensure that adequate resources and shorebased support are provided.
- Ensuring that all fleet crew members are compliant with STCW (Standard of Training Certification and Watch keeping for Seafarers) convention and carrying out the required verification of the crew certificates.
- Fulfilling all requirements to maintain ISM and ISPS certification.
