Roles and Responsibilities
a. Responsibility
- Attend Monthly WSH Committee Meetings
- Conduct Weekly inspection with sub-contractors' Supervisors
- Ensure all machinery and equipment at site are in good working conditions and having all the necessary certificates
- Ensure all workers at site are wearing appropriate PPE at all times
- Conduct weekly safety talk/briefing.
- Ensure proper housekeeping by the sub-contractors on a daily basic
- Conduct daily toolbox meeting with the sub-contractors
- Conduct safety induction programme for new workers.
- Conduct daily safety inspection on site
b. Authority
- Stop any activity/operation if unsafe practice is detected.
- Prevent unauthorized personal entering construction site
- Impose penalties on non-compliance by sub-contractors and workers.
