Responsibilities
- Provide on-site safety supervision, coordination, and guidance to commissioning, maintenance, and construction crews, supervisors, and team members.
- Coach and mentor employees to support both individual and team performance improvement.
- Promote leadership, accountability, and a positive safety culture aligned with Shermco Core Principles, Life Critical Safety Actions, and Organizational Key Results (OKRs).
- Perform field audits and inspections to meet internal and external KPIs.
- Conduct job site safety compliance inspections, including hazard analysis, safe work procedures, reporting, and recommendations.
- Observe equipment, tools, and site conditions to identify hazards and report concerns to leadership.
- Act as a key safety resource for employees, supporting audits, inspections, and investigations.
