About The Role
Due to extended scope for our client, Ventia require a Safety Officer for a permanent part – time position based in Hobart, Tasmania are. This role offers flexible working hours across Monday to Friday for a excellent work life balance.
Reporting to the Project Director, the primary purpose of the Safety Advisor to support the SHEQ Compliance of the Project by promotion, embedment and influencing Netflow’s culture of “Choose the Safe Way”.
What you’ll be doing:
- Act as the ‘site safety presence’ and inspect, collaborate and ensure all field safety requirements are implemented to ensure ‘Safety Above All Else’
- Attend risk and planning workshops, HSE committees and forums to communicate safety
- Inspect depot and subcontractor sites and follow up actions with responsible Managers and Supervisors
