Running and Reading Mentor Needed

Volunteer with Start2Finish as a Running and Reading Club Mentor. Inspire children in Grades 1–6 through engaging activities that mix fitness and literacy every Wednesday.
Start2Finish is offering an ongoing mentorship opportunity at Molly Brant Elementary School in Kingston, Ontario. Mentors will support youth by facilitating fun exercise activities and reading sessions, building their confidence and encouraging a love for learning. This program focuses on children aged 6–13, providing a positive environment for educational growth and physical health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead enjoyable fitness activities with children
• Read one-on-one with students to promote literacy
• Serve healthy snacks during program time
• Facilitate interactive literacy games and activities
Requirements:
• Willing to pass a background check
• Minimum age of 16 years required
• Ability to commute to Kingston location
• Commitment to volunteer code of conduct
