The RTR Lead is accountable for directing a team of General Ledger (GL) Accountants, including External Accountants provided by Accenture and Sr. Analysts, in the timely and efficient execution of GL processes for their assigned Business Unit(s). As part of the Global Shared Services division, the lead supports the integration of new organizations or entities within the company and provides leadership in the continued development of the RTR division into a world-class customer service organization.
Specific Responsibilities
- Accountable for the daily management of team activities, including serving as the technical leader for assigned area of responsibility.
- Conduct regular meetings that include issue discussions.
- Resolve issues as appropriate and elevate further as needed.
- Ensure department systems and procedures are in compliance with company policies.
- Seek and recommend process improvements for departmental procedures.
