Imperial Dade Canada has an opening for an RPG Developer (IBM i / AS400). The RPG Developer will work closely with business analysts, project managers, system administrators, and end users to design, develop, maintain, and modernize business‑critical applications on the IBM i platform. The role focuses on ERP systems, core business processes, and integrations with internal and external systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize RPG IV (ILE / Free‑form) and CL programs.
- Work with DB2 for i using native objects and SQL.
- Participate in application modernization initiatives.
- Develop and maintain system integrations (APIs, file exchanges).
- Perform unit and integration testing.
- Participate in deployments and upgrades.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation.
