Routine Maintenance Planner

POSITION SUMMARY

Marathon Petroleum Company’s Galveston Bay Refinery is seeking a Routine Maintenance All Craft Planner. The Routine Maintenance All Craft Planner will report to the Planning Manager and will be responsible for planning work packages, developing detailed work scopes, preparing cost and man‑hour estimates, requisitioning materials & contributing to maintenance productivity by ensuring maintenance work is planned safely, efficiently, and effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and process work notifications into work orders, ensuring proper authorization, priority, completeness, and accuracy while determining craft skills needed, sequencing the work, and estimating man‑hours, material, tools, and equipment requirements.
• Develop detailed work packages, procure materials, allocate resources and rental equipment needed for the job.
• Facilitate planning deliverables for work practices (e.g., RSP‑1400).
