Robotics Senior Linux Infrastructure Architect

Overview

Position within ABB Robotics, part of the Sevensense team in Spain and Switzerland, responsible for building and maintaining secure IT infrastructure for the R&D environment. The role is hybrid and located at Sant Quirze del Vallès (Barcelona) and Zurich, Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• Translate architecture into reality by installing, configuring, and deploying the core Linux infrastructure, clusters, and network fabrics for the Barcelona and Zurich sites.
• Execute complex migrations and upgrades from the command line, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Write and commit production‑grade automation code (Ansible, Terraform) to deploy infrastructure as code, eliminating manual configuration drift.
• Architect and build high‑availability Linux infrastructure alongside enterprise storage solutions.
