Job Purpose
To train and mentor student teams competing in RoboCup Junior (RCJ) disciplines including Rescue Line Maze Soccer and OnStage. The instructor will provide hands-on training in robot programming, sensor calibration, strategy development, and mock competition simulation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver technical workshops on robotics systems (Arduino, EV3, Raspberry Pi)
- Coach students on robot design, autonomous navigation, and debugging
- Facilitate mock competition scenarios aligned with RoboCup formats
- Support teams with strategy documentation and compliance with competition rules
- Provide feedback and mentorship during bootcamp and pre-competition intensives
- Develop supporting materials (slides, code samples, troubleshooting guides)
