Roadway Illumination and Traffic Signal Engineer

Role Description

The primary focus is Traffic Signal and/or Roadway Lighting design for transportation facilities. The successful candidate will work with technical staff to prepare preliminary and detailed traffic/intersection design drawings, estimates, specifications, and proposals. They will also assist in preparing reports on the nature, status, and results of design or study assignments.

Role Accountabilities

The successful candidate will contribute to the design, production, coordination, and management of Roadway Illumination and Traffic Signal projects. Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating with Utility and Roadway agencies to develop traffic signal/intersection and roadway illumination designs in AutoCAD and/or Microstation, including layout, equipment details, and photometrics.
