Roads Engineer (PR Eng)

Job Description

• Lead the geometric design of roads, highways, intersections, and related transport infrastructure
• Prepare design reports, drawings, and technical specifications
• Develop road alignments, cross-sections, and coordinate multidisciplinary design inputs
• Ensure designs comply with SANRAL, TMH, and relevant municipal standards
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 6+ years' experience in geometric road design within a consulting engineering environment
• Strong knowledge of SANRAL, TMH, and South African road design standards
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other relevant design software
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and report-writing skills
