The Paving Superintendent is responsible for overseeing daily asphalt paving field operations, coordinating with owners and general contractors, organizing crews and subcontractors, ensuring contracts are completed safely, on time, on budget, and in compliance with specifications and customer expectations. The superintendent also provides accurate revenue and cost information to accounting staff, reviews invoices and cost reports prior to release, and develops the capability of the operations organization to increase construction revenue and profitability. This includes coaching and mentoring staff, promoting agility, collaboration and empowerment, and driving continuous improvement.
