Road Construction Technician – Ticket Collector

This is a temporary position (approximately 4 months) in CapeBreton, Nova Scotia.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect weigh‑scale tickets from truck drivers delivering materials to the site.
• Track and organise tickets for trucks loading and hauling materials such as gravel, dirt, and asphalt.
• Record truck details, material types, and quantities accurately.
• Summarise tickets and compile daily material quantity records.
• Verify deliveries to ensure materials hauled match what was ordered.
• Support accurate inventory control by maintaining clear and complete records.
• Communicate professionally with drivers and site personnel during daily operations.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and in construction environments.
