Rigging Engineer - Walkin Chennai

Responsibilities

Develop and implement detailed rigging plans for complex lifting operations ensuring safety and efficiency in challenging environments. Conduct thorough site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and devise mitigation strategies before commencing any rigging activity. Select appropriate rigging equipment including cranes, hoists, slings and shackles based on load weight, geometry and environmental conditions. Supervise and guide rigging crews ensuring adherence to established procedures, safety protocols and project timelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field, demonstrating a strong theoretical foundation. Minimum of 13 years of progressive experience specifically in rigging engineering, with a proven track record of successful project execution.
