Rig Helper/Roustabout Required On Contract Bases For 12 Months

Responsibilities and duties

1. Prepares drilling equipment prior to its use and maintains it whilst it is in storage.
2. Maintains the drilling and deck areas on the installation in a clean and tidy state.
3. Moves drilling equipment and materials to and from the drill floor and around the installation in a safe and proper manner.
4. Cleaning, preparation, and handling of tubular around the rig i.e., Drill string/Casing on the pipe rack.
5. Performs fire watching duties for the welder where appropriate.
6. Carries out relief duties on the Rig Floor when competent to do so.
7. Assists with the installation and removal of BOP and wellhead equipment.
8. As directed, assists Electricians, Warehouse Men, Welders and Mechanics in the performance of their duties.
