RIC MACHINE OPERATOR (RAPID IMPACT COMPACTION)

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled work plan from mobilization to execution until the demobilization and handing over
• Operate the Rapid Impact Compaction (RIC) machine in accordance with safety guidelines and manufacturer specifications
• Familiarity with the controls and functions of the equipment to ensure proper and efficient operation
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others on the construction site
• Conduct pre-operational checks on the equipment to identify and address any safety issues before starting the compaction process
• Collaborate with site engineers and surveyors to identify specific locations for compaction and ensure proper compaction depths
• Discuss and Understand the Compaction requirement from Site Engineer/Supervisors as per the project requirement and operate the equipment accordingly
