Resident Maintenance Technician

Position Overview

Dematic Corporation is hiring a Regional Resident Maintenance Technician to provide service and repair, and maintenance training for Dematic systems and equipment in the Montreal, Quebec area. The role reports to the Senior Field Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Write concise, clear, and complete reports within required time frames per Dematic procedures.
• Maintain customer goodwill and ensure Dematic systems have maximum availability.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance, corrective maintenance, scheduled repairs, and emergency repairs.
• Practice safe work habits and abide by safety rules in accordance with customer and Dematic policies.
• Log all service work performed, record downtime during repair, and account for equipment service requests.
• Balance electronics, electrical, and mechanical skills with an emphasis on controls.
• Travel locally up to 20%.
