Assignment location: Reynosa- DeWalt.Provide on-site resident engineering support.Conduct technical investigations and determine the need for design changes.Recommend and qualify solutions to issues and provide engineering documentation as needed.Approval authority for all proposed material substitutions.Generate and lead specific projects in support of warranty, reliability, total cost and quality improvement objectives.Participate in the disposition of deviant materials and components.Disposition First Piece Inspection discrepancies for mature products.Drive manufacturing and supplier use of and adherence to REA process.Lead the warranty reduction process.
**Education and Experience**:- BS or equivalent in engineering discipline.
- 2 years' experience in design of high-volume electromechanical system.
- 4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
