Researcher for the Multi-Physics Battery Modelling Series (Bilbao)

Overview

CIDETEC needs to recruit a researcher to work in the Multi-physics Modelling area in the Energy Materials Unit. This role focuses on the development and implementation of multi-physics models for the operation and manufacturing of lithium/sodium ion, solid-state, and other advanced battery technologies.

Your Contribution

You will be part of a state‑of‑the‑art research centre dedicated to sustainability and the circular economy. Your work will be independent, following a defined work plan, and will involve implementing new mechanisms and features on an existing battery simulation code.

Key responsibilities include:

• Generating new ideas and concepts and implementing them.
• Assisting in the preparation of documentation related to funding searches.
• Maintaining a strong product/market/result orientation (meeting deadlines, costs, and time).
