Location: Benicarló (Castellón).

About You

In this position, under general supervision of a PhD chemist, you will propose, plan and perform experimental procedures in the laboratory from g to Kg scale aiming to improve by following green chemistry principles, the quality, yield, process safety and/or reduce production cost of fragrance ingredients. You will generate and evaluate data, interpret, and report results, draw conclusions, and write reports.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for conducting the day experimental work in multi‑step organic synthesis of small molecules in the assigned projects.
• Develop/optimize synthetic routes for scalable manufacturing processes.
• Perform bibliography revisions and searches to elaborate innovative working plan alternatives on assigned projects while balancing time, resources, and risks of the approaches.
