Research Associate – Chemistry (Level A) at UNSW Sydney, full time, fixed-term 1 year, 35 hours per week. Salary: $113,000 – $121,000 plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading.

The School of Chemistry teaches over 2,000 undergraduate students annually and offers undergraduate programmes that lead to majors in chemistry. Five teaching laboratories specialise in First Year, Synthetic, Analytical and Physical Chemistry.
The role involves contributing to the Smart Materials and Surfaces research group, focusing on sustainable electrochemistry to produce organic molecules from simple low‑cost species or waste products.
