Research Assistant, Infectious Diseases (per diem)

Position Summary

Research Assistant – Infectious Diseases. Boston, MA. Approximately 10 hours per week on a hybrid schedule (Monday, Tuesday mornings, Thursday afternoons). Responsible for administrative support of two clinical studies on Chagas disease at Boston Medical Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit and consent research subjects; maintain contact with participating sites for timely data collection.
• Schedule study visits, track appointments, and escort participants to phlebotomy when needed.
• Assist with patient recruitment, questionnaire administration, case report form creation, filing, and data entry.
• Enter and update data, maintain databases, run reports, and store samples.
• Document financial and budgetary needs of the grant; support the research team with data preparation and reporting.
• Support additional studies as needed.
