**What’s the role?**
Outstanding opportunity for an experienced Court Reporter to join Australia’s largest media organisation. Work for NewsCorp’s NewsWire, providing valuable content for all mastheads, news.com.au and The Australian as well as external clients.
This role would suit a mid-career journalist and will work to cover news out of courts in Brisbane and surrounds as well as breaking news when required.
This is a full-time, permanent position based out of News Corp’s office in Bowen Hills.
**Key responsibilities**
+ File engaging and legally sound court copy to strict deadlines
+ Pitch and generate original stories and ideas
+ Maintain an accurate and comprehensive court calendar
+ Respond to breaking news events outside of rostered hours when required
