Remote Control System CAD Operator

Leading company specializing in the design of control solutions for the building automation industry is seeking to fill the following position: CAD Operator

The CAD Operator, under general supervision, will be responsible for taking engineering notes, specifications, rough sketches, etc., and formalize them into working drawings. These drawings will be a key component in the design of custom, state of the art, electronic and DDC control systems.

Essential Duties:

1. Ensure that final product matches the design intent and clearly communicates design and operation of the system by:
   • Preparing submittal documentation (i.e., data sheets)
   • Maintain project drawing files, and associated records and documentation tracking and maintaining as‑built drawings
   • Provide AutoCAD and BIM drafting and design support for various levels of Building Automation System (BAS) Design Engineers during the design stages of the project.
