Remote Automotive Service Technician Role

Become an integral part of Valard Construction as a Remote Automotive Service Technician supporting the Waasigan Project in northwestern Ontario. This field role emphasizes safety and efficiency in fleet vehicle maintenance.
Your primary responsibility will include diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in a fleet of vehicles. Ideal candidates hold a Journeyperson certification and are familiar with diagnostic software like JalTest and Ford IDS. Work independently while maintaining precise records and ensuring all fleet vehicles are safe to operate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair project vehicle issues, mechanical and electrical
• Employ diagnostic tools for accurate issue identification
• Conduct road tests verifying vehicle functionality and safety
• Document repairs, parts used, and completed work accurately
