Relief Pharmacist (Barrie)

This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for receiving, preparing and delivering prescription medication accurately and on time. The role requires ensuring adequate inventory levels to meet patient needs, counseling patients with appropriate documentation, providing friendly, positive and proactive interactions with internal and external customers, and creating awareness for Pharmacy services through public relations activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, dispense and control medications accurately and promptly to patients.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels for prescription and over-the-counter supplements.
• Provide counseling to patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, pro‑active manner.
