We are seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Engineer to join our Wheelchair Services team based in Leicester.
As a Rehabilitation Engineer, you will work in a clinical and technical capacity, taking significant responsibility for patient care relating to the assessment and prescription of posture and mobility equipment. This includes specialist seating, manual wheelchairs, powered wheelchairs, buggies, and associated accessories including specialist controls.
Additionally, you will provide line management for the Field Service Engineer team, overseeing induction, training, objective setting and appraisal, and ongoing skills development.
The service supports children and adults with severe disabilities, most living with long‑term conditions; many are deteriorating, some rapidly, including those in the terminal phase.
