Job Description

Reporting to the Parks Manager, and under the general direction of the Supervisor and/or designate operates various pieces of equipment and perform work assignments related to the Turf & Pest Management Programs & Forestry activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain various units of equipment and provide input into the purchase of new equipment
• All work related activities including assisting with monitoring and analysis.
• Communicate with staff and the public on all aspects of the program
• Process work orders, associated paperwork and work assignments accurately in accordance with established standards and timelines
• Perform all general parks facility and grounds maintenance activities and provide input into the development and improvement of safety procedures and work practices
