Registered Veterinary Technician/Technologist

VetStrategy is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to work in a fast‑paced learning environment.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Take direction from and perform duties as instructed by the team and other technicians.
• Understand normal vital signs (heart rate, pulse rate, capillary refill time, mucous membranes, temperature, respiratory rate, and effort).
• Be comfortable with client communication and obtaining histories from clients.
• Maintain an understanding of common veterinary medical terms and abbreviations.
• Maintain a positive atmosphere and demonstrate a friendly and courteous attitude with coworkers.
• Be comfortable with general anesthesia and sedation of patients.
• Assist in scheduling appointments, restraining patients for imaging, prepping patients, and departmental coordination.
• Perform physical duties such as lifting and restraining animals as needed.
