Registered Pharmacy Technician

Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a part‑time Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Pharmasave in Salmon Arm, BC.

Availability needed: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am‑5:30pm (occasional Saturdays).

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities

• Receive and accurately transcribe verbal prescriptions from healthcare providers
• Ensure patient safety through accurate and high‑quality preparation and release of medications
• Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies
• Process prescriptions by entering orders, counting, measuring, compounding, and packaging medications
• Perform final checks on prepared prescriptions for accuracy and safety
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards
• Experience with compounding an asset, but not necessary. Desire to learn important.
