Job Overview

We are hiring a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) for a Sobeys pharmacy located at 4809 Fort Frances Safeway Pharmacy, Fort Frances, Ontario. The role requires a license from the provincial college of pharmacy and the ability to perform independent pharmacy duties under indirect supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and compound prescriptions, including receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions (excluding verbal narcotic prescriptions and benzodiazepines).
• Ensure prescriptions are complete and authentic.
• Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies.
• Ensure accuracy of prepared prescriptions and perform final checks.
• Maintain accurate drug and personal health information in patient records.
