Registered Occupational Therapist (Milton)

Job Summary

We are currently looking for an Occupational Therapist for a Long Term Care home client in London, Ontario.

Schedule

4-5 Hours per week.

Job Duties

• Conduct OT/ADP assessments for residents per College standards, develop individualized treatment plans, and document all progress notes in the facility's health record system.
• Complete feeding assessments for residents.
• Complete assessments for falls prevention and Least Restraints, including reviews of bed rails.
• Work with the Physiotherapist and Nursing staff regarding wound management (e.g., positioning, lifting, and transferring).
• Work with the multi-disciplinary team to make recommendations with respect to other interventions or treatments (e.g., Restorative Care, Pain Management, Contingence Management), and ensure the interventions follow best practices.
