Your Opportunity:

The Unit 4E4 Registered Nurse (RN) reports to the Unit Manager – Pediatric Medicine. Unit 4E4 is a 25‑bed pediatric inpatient unit providing care to patients up to 18 years of age. The unit supports a diverse pediatric population, including general pediatric medicine, respirology, neurology, nephrology, mental health, and overflow from other pediatric specialty programs requiring inpatient care. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the 4E4 RN- provides leadership in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for the mentioned populations under both, University of Alberta Hospital (UAH) and Stollery Children’s Hospital, policies, and procedures. The RN practices to full scope as defined by CARNA.
