Registered Nurse - Emergency

Position Overview

The GPRH Emergency Department in Grande Prairie includes 4 trauma bays, 7 treatment stretchers, 11 cardiac‑monitored stretchers, and one seclusion room. The RN will join a collaborative, interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering safe, quality, patient‑and family‑centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities, and populations while ensuring their safety and well‑being.
• Utilize nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making to assess and manage health conditions.
• Teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families.
• Play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance.
