Baycrest Hospital has an opportunity for a REGISTERED NURSE (RN) Complex Continuing Care Unit (6E)

Complex Continuing Care Unit on 6 East Hospital provides care for older patients with complex medical conditions in a non-acute hospital setting. The Complex Continuing Care Program helps patients and their families identify strategies that support quality‑of‑life goals as well as short term and long‑term care needs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provides sound clinical knowledge and assessment skills, acts as clinical expert and resource and provides comprehensive, quality client/family centred health care services from admission, through transfers and discharge
• Plans for, delivers and evaluates nursing interventions, including medications, as well as treatments which fall within the RN’s scope of practice
