TheSouthEastGreyCommunityHealthCentre(SEGCHC)isaprimarycarefacilitylocated inMarkdale,ON. SEGCHCisdedicatedtomeetingthebroaderneedsofthecommunitiesinwhichweservethroughthedevelopmentandimplementationofprimarycare,healthpromotionandcommunitydevelopmentbestpractices.

SEGCHC is currently seeking a full-time, temporary 18-month contract Registered Dietitian (37.5 hours per week). The Registered Dietitian will provide a balance of nutrition counselling and community programming.

Keyresponsibilities include:

• Performs nutritional assessments, development of client-focused nutritional plans, health education/counselling and other clinical activities in accordance with the College of Dietitians of Ontario standards of practice.
• Perform community-based nutrition needs assessments and identify barriers to acquiring adequate food security and facilitate and support community initiatives to improve food security.
