Registered Dental Assistant

This is a temporary position because of a grant funded program.General clinical support for the dental teams, chairside assisting, intra-oral duties, follows stringent infection control standards, delivers patient education, clinical preventive therapies and radiographic procedures.All Public Health Dental Clinic patients are disadvantaged, and many have English as a second language – so they may require more than the usual amount of explanation and assistance. Must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently by phone and in person with co-workers, Dentists, Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, other medical and administrative Staff, Patients.
