About The Position
The Regional Tax Manager will be a member of the APAC Finance team and will report directly to the APAC Tax Director and work in close collaboration with the APAC Finance and Global Tax teams. This role will be responsible for all tax related matters for Fluence Philippines, Taiwan and Japan and provide support to APAC tax functions for regional projects / initiatives as directed by the Senior Tax Director - APAC.
Key Responsibilities
- Tax Compliance – Lead completion of tax compliance needs for Philippines, Taiwan, Japan - must have scope to expand to other jurisdictions within 12 months.
- Tax Advocacy - Manage tax audits and assessments, including tax cases filed in the Tax Courts.
- Tax Risk Management - Manage tax risks and take advantage of tax opportunities. This includes promoting tax awareness, initiating continued improvements to internal controls over processes with tax impact and providing timely tax ...
