REGIONAL LANGUAGE COORDINATOR

The Akaitcho Territory Government (ATG) is seeking a qualified and self‑motivated full‑time Regional Aboriginal Language Coordinator to coordinate and deliver the ATG Aboriginal Language Program regionally and locally in collaboration with the Akaitcho Dene Member First Nations.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 and Post Secondary diploma in Business Administration. Must have related work experience and an equivalent combination of training in Aboriginal Languages Programming.
• Knowledge of the Aboriginal Languages in the NWT.
• Experience and knowledge with computer/software – Microsoft 365.
• Proven ability to work well within a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Report directly to the Executive Director.
