Diagnose and repair transport climate control equipment (truck, trailer, rail container).
Complete pre-trip inspections in accordance with customers’ specific requirements.
Provide estimates on repairs.
Communicate information regarding equipment availability and status to the customer at various levels (fleet manager, driver, dispatch).
Requirements:
Education: Certification as a diesel or refrigeration mechanic or 5 years experience in transportation refrigeration.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- Strong language skills, oral and written.
- Ability to prioritize customers’ requests.
- Must be organized and able to multitask at all times.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Commercial driver’s license (CDL), or the ability to apply for one preferred.
