Job Description – REEFER TECHNICIAN
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Repairing and preparing reefer containers for the purpose of safely shipping perishable cargo.

Conduct pre-trips and inspection report on reefer containers. Pre-trip test conducted by running through an automated test ± 4.5hrs., carrying a physical pre-trip technical inspection according to the client’s / shipping lines criteria and recorded on a Manual PTI Inspection form. Once pre-trip tests and inspections are successfully concluded, PTI sticker is completed and adhered to the machine end of the reefer.
