Recreation Therapist – Sunshine Coast Adult Mental Health & Substance Use Services Intake, Sechelt, BC

Salary range: CAD $40.19 per hour – $50.20 per hour.

Responsibilities

Within a patient/client and family‑centred framework and a continuum‑based care model—and in accordance with established standards of professional practice and the organization’s vision, values and policies—provides Recreation Therapy services in team‑based environments for designated programs and clients. Coordinates and participates in quality improvement, risk management initiatives, meetings, research, and education. Conducts assessments and interventions as required and gives work direction to students, staff, and volunteers.

Education & Experience

• Baccalaureate in Therapeutic Recreation or Leisure Studies from an accredited university.
