The Alberta Children's Hospital (ACH) is a warm and vibrant workplace, with team members providing service to children and their families in inpatient units and ambulatory clinics. The Recreation Therapist (RT) I, is part of ACH site-wide RT Services, and ensures the level of therapeutic recreation practice is evidence based, patient- and family-centred, and in accordance with policies, procedures and standards of practice. Completing assessment, treatment, education and provide clinical support and consultation. Collaboration and communication with the health care team and participation in patient rounds, family conferences and meetings as related to the patient and family. This position will support patients within our Rehab and Education Program including subacute populations with complex medical profiles.
